The One and Only Conner!

My dog Conner is a 96 pound yellow labrador retriever who is very cute! He is not just our dog, he is  part of our family. As I mentioned in my welcome post, he is my only pet. The problem with Conner is that he loves to go off on his own.

Last week, the gardner left our side gate open and Conner got out. Unfortunately, Conner's tag had fallen off the previous week, and we had not put it on yet. We knew that even if someone found him they wouldn't be able to contact us. My mom was not home, so for two hours my dad, my sister
Hannah, and I drove around our neighborhood looking for him and yelling
                           
                                 CONNER WHERE ARE YOU?! 
When we called my mom to let her know that Conner had gotten out, she sprung into action and called Kelly's (The Kelly Connection) mom, Henny, to help us search for him. While Henny was driving around in the neighborhood, Kelly noticed a sign that read:
Stray Yellow Lab found in front of my house. Dog is now at (address, phone number).

We contacted the people and were able to pick Conner up from their house. The first thing we did when we got home was to put Conner's tag on.

That day was one of the scariest days of my life! I am so grateful that we found Conner safe and sound thanks to our good friends Henny and Kelly!
